Research on the Interval Training Method in Football

Abstract

The results achieved in modern football depend to a certain extent on the training methods applied by coaches in training, because the possession of football sports form by football players and their achievement are related to the application of these methods. The intermittent training method is very relevant in modern football in preparing football players in a short time, but it is a little-studied area. The results achieved in modern football directly depend on the scientific substantiation of the training process and the effectiveness of the methodological approaches applied by coaches. Increasing the team's competitiveness, optimizing the level of functional preparation of football players and maintaining a stable sports form are closely related to the correct planning of the training process and the application of differential methods. In modern football, which is characterized by high intensity and dynamic game requirements, the selection of training methods and the development of their application mechanisms on a scientific basis are of great importance in order to ensure sports results.

In recent years, the increase in speed-tempo indicators of football, the increase in high-intensity runs and fast transitions during the game have necessitated the application of new approaches in the training process. In this regard, the interval training method (interval loads) acts as one of the relevant methods in terms of developing both aerobic and anaerobic capabilities of football players, increasing speed-endurance indicators, and maintaining functional stability during the game. Interval training creates conditions for the complex development of energy supply systems based on the principle of alternating short-term, high-intensity loads at certain intervals.
