School-Family Cooperation in Primary Education:
Establishing Communication and Organizational Commitment
Abstract
Article In addition to drawing attention to the importance of communication as an important factor in establishing school-family relations in primary education, it was emphasized that the school bears an organizational responsibility in establishing these relations. The researcher emphasized the importance of involving families in the school in order to influence the cooperation that should be established between the school and the family, and it was noted that this process should be planned mainly by teachers. The school should pay special attention to low-income families and families from different socio-economic levels, parents who became parents at a young age, adoptive parents, divorced parents, and more, and emphasized the importance of establishing school-family communication with them. The article emphasizes the importance of developing special programs to properly establish family-school relationships. It is noted that these programs are aimed at promoting interaction and cooperation between parents and teachers, helping families fulfill their parental responsibilities, informing and supporting families about their children's education and development, and preparing children for learning when they go to school.
The main purpose of the article on the topic "School-family cooperation in primary education: building communication and organizational commitment" is to draw attention to the formation of the family-school institution.
