The Essence, Content, Principles and Methods of Thrift Education
of Young Schoolchildren
Abstract
As a result of the study, it became clear that thrift in younger schoolchildren economic education is planned, organized activity carried out at school with the aim of arming students with knowledge, skills and habits related to economics, fostering a positive attitude towards labor, instilling thrift, businesslikeness, entrepreneurship, intelligence, economic outlook and vision in students' daily behavior, being loyal to the economy of the homeland and appreciating property. Economic education instills in youth the feelings of being proactive, approaching the work performed not with enthusiasm, but with awareness and voluntarily. It develops scientific-technical, economic thinking. It encourages thrift, intelligence. It educates the ability to closely participate in competition, labor negotiations, to consider oneself a real owner and to be the owner of production. Since the education of thrift in younger schoolchildren plays a fundamental role in the economic thinking of the individual, it is important to achieve its systematic and consistent implementation in all schools. In particular, in order for appropriate extracurricular and extracurricular activities to be effective, the participation of students themselves in the preparation and implementation of these activities should be given wide space. In each school, the application of the thrift regime and the assessment of the work done in terms of thrift and profitability should be implemented.
