The Role of Investments in the Formation of Business Infrastructure at the Modern Stage and Development Directions

Abstract. The formation of business infrastructure at the modern stage is one of the main factors playing an important role in the economic development of the country. Business infrastructure includes transport, logistics, energy, financial and banking services, industrial parks, technoparks, information and communication systems and entrepreneurship support mechanisms. The development of these areas is directly related to attracting investments. Investments create conditions for the creation of new production areas, modernization of existing enterprises, introduction of technological innovations and increase of economic activity in the regions. The study examines the importance of public and private investments in the development of business infrastructure, the role of investments directed to the non-oil sector and the improvement of the entrepreneurial environment. The main directions of investment policy in the modern era are related to the expansion of digital infrastructure, increasing logistics capabilities, development of industrial zones and support of innovative entrepreneurship. As a result, the efficient direction of investments increases the competitiveness of the business environment, helps create new jobs, and creates a solid foundation for sustainable economic development.
