The Social-Pedagogical Role of the Teacher in the Modern Era
Abstract
The article examines the essence of the pedagogical duties of the teacher, their social and philosophical aspects, as well as the socio-pedagogical role of the teacher in the modern education system. The functions of the teacher are not only to transfer knowledge, but also to form a personality, instill moral values, and ensure social integration. The organizational, communicative, educational, and developmental duties of the teacher form the integrity of pedagogical activity. The issues of the teacher's social status and professional authority in the context of international pedagogical ideas and the Azerbaijani education concept are also analyzed.
