Theory and Methodological Foundations of Military Education:

Modern Approaches and Analysis of the Source Base

Abstract

This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of military education and analyzes the dynamics of its development against the backdrop of modern security challenges and technological innovations. Traditional classical theories, including the philosophies of war of Sun Tzu and Clausewitz, are compared with modern analytical and leadership-oriented training models. The article extensively explains the use of distance and online education methods, artificial intelligence, and big data analytics in the training process. The study compares the methodological approaches applied in the military education systems of NATO member states, especially Turkey, with the military education model of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The successes achieved by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in modern combat training confirm the effectiveness of new training and education methods applied in the country. The article concludes by emphasizing that the success of modern military education systems is closely related to the application of agile methodologies, the development of analytical and strategic thinking, the integration of technology into training, and the formation of ethical leadership skills. In the future, for the sustainable development of militaryeducation, a wider application of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and individualized learning models will be necessary.
