Bildiyimiz kimi, Azərbaycan dili dünyanın zəngin dillərindən biridir. Bu dili yaşadan xalqdır. Dilimizin saflığı uğrunda mübarizə bunu bir daha təsdiq edir. Qeyd edək ki, hər bir dövrdə dil məsələləri ilə məşğul olanların, mübarizə aparanların demək olar ki, hamısı yazıçılardır.

XX əsrin sonu, XXI əsrin əvvəllərində də dilimizin saflığı uğrunda mübarizə davam etmiş, bir çox yazarlarımız bu mübarizənin önündə getmişlər. Bu ədiblərimizdən biri də xalq şairi Bəxtiyar Vahabzadədir. B.Vahabzadənin dilimizin saflığı ilə bağlı apardığı mübarizə danılmazdır. Şairin bir çox şeirlərində ana dilinin saflığının qorunması kimi məsələlər öz əksini tapır. Bəlkə də buna görədir ki, şairi “ədəbiyyatımızın ana dili şairi” adlandırıblar.

B.Vahabzadə dili məxsus olduğu xalqın tarixini özündə yaşadan bir vasitə kimi qiymətləndirmiş, əsərlərində bunu təbliğ etmişdir. Şairin ədəbi-ictimai fəaliyyətinə nəzər yetirdikdə bir daha əmin olursan ki, bu çoxşaxəli fəaliyyətin arxasında vətən sevgisi, xalqına, onun dilinə böyük məhəbbət dayanır.

As we know Azerbaijani language is one of the richest languages in the world. It is the people who keep the language alive. The struggle for the purity of our language confirms this once again. It should be noted that almost all those who deal with language issues and struggle in each period are writers. At the end of the 20^th century and the beginning of the 21^st century, the struggle for the purity of our languagecontinued, and many of our writers were at the forefront of this struggle. 

One of these writers is the national poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh. B.Vahabzadeh’s struggle for the purity of our language is undeniable. Many of the poet’s poems reflect issues such as the protection of the purity of the mother tongue. Perhaps this is why the poet was called “the poet of the native language of our literature”. B.Vahabzadeh valued the language as a means of living the history of the people to whom he belonged, and promoted it in his works. When you look at the poet’s literary and social activity you are once again convinced that behind this multifaceted activity is the love of the homeland, great love for the people and their language. 

The article discusses the activity of B.Vahabzsdeh in this field.
