İqtisadi böhran fenomeni təbii ki, xoşagəlməzdir və cəmiyyətin iqtisadi və sosial həyatına dağıdıcı təsir göstərir. Məqalənin məqsədi COVID-19-un dünyada iqtisadi vəziyyətə təsirinin tendensiyalarını öyrənmək və bu xəstəliyin pandemiyasından Azərbaycana vurduğu sosial-iqtisadi itkiləri müəyyən etməkdir. Məqalədə koronavirus pandemiyasının qlobal iqtisadi tendensiyalara təsiri araşdırılıb. COVID-19-un dünya iqtisadiyyatı üçün əsas nəticələri artır: bunlara birja indekslərinin düşməsi; neftin qiymətinin əhəmiyyətli dərəcədə azalması və metallar bazarının inkişafının ləngiməsi; istehsalın azalması; aviaşirkətlərin və dəniz nəqliyyatının, ticarət və əyləncə mərkəzlərinin, turizm sənayesinin gəlirlərinin əhəmiyyətli dərəcədə azalması; ev təsərrüfatlarının gəlirlərinin azalması; əczaçılıq sənayesinin və qlobal oyun, təhsil və digər onlayn proqramlar sənayesinin gəlirlərinin artması; daha az riskli aktivlərə artan investor tələbi aid edilir.

Abstract
The phenomenon of economic crisis is, of course, unpleasant and has a devastating effect on the economic and social life of society. The purpose of the article is to study the trends in the impact of COVID-19 on the economic situation in the world and to determine the socio-economic losses of this disease to Azerbaijan from the pandemic. The article examines the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on global economic trends. The main consequences of COVID-19 for the world economy are growing: the decline in stock indexes; significant reduction in oil prices and delay in the development of the metal market; reduction of production; significant reduction in revenues of airlines and maritime transport, shopping and entertainment centers, tourism industry; reduction of household income; increase in revenues from the pharmaceutical industry and the global gaming, education and other online applications industry; less risky assets include increasing investor demand.
