Azərbaycanın 18-ci əsrin ikinci yarısındakı tarixi əslində müstəqil və yarımaslı dövlət qurumlarının-xanlıqların tarixindən ibarətdir. Azərbaycan ərazisində xanlıqlar başlıca olaraq İran hokmranlığı ilə mübarizədə yarandığından onların meydana gəlməsi ilə sosial-iqtisadi və siyasi şərtləri ümumi xarakter daşıyırdı. Bu proses həm şimali həmdə cənubi Azərbaycan ərazisində gedirdi. Şimal xanlıqlarından fərqli olaraq, cənub xanlıqları müstəqilliklərini qısa müddətdən sonra itirdilər.

Teaching methodology of Karabakh Khanate with interactive methods in the subject of Azerbaijan history in comprehensive educational institutions
Abstract
The history of Azerbaijan in the second half of the 18th century actually consists of the history of independent and semi-dependent state institutions - khanates. Since the khanates in the territory of Azerbaijan were formed mainly in the struggle with the Iranian rule, their socio-economic and political conditions were general in nature.This process was going on in both northern and southern Azerbaijan. Unlike the northern khanates, the southern khanates lost their independence after a short time.
